The Bottom Line: Infrastructure

If one wishes to create understanding they simplify, if one wishes to create confusion they overcomplicate. ~Ghost

(Opinion)

Since taxes were levied for infrastructure, Americans have handed the government hundreds of trillions of dollars with the explicit understanding the money would be used for infrastructure only.

Under the 2021 bipartisan infrastructure law which we will be using, the budget is 1.2 trillion dollars, and it breaks down like this just for transportation, something we can ALL relate to. All other charts and information can be found by following the link.

We have seen numerous rail disasters, bridge collapses with and without barges and ships colliding with them, by the way, how are your roads?

Looking at our national report card for just one of the years involved.

Considering the money we give them, nothing should be lower than a B, they should all be in the A since that's what we've been paying them to do, don't you think? A C- is not good enough. That doesn't add up in my mind, so I'm wondering if it does in yours.

I will even play devil's advocate for a minute. "Things keep changing, more people, more problems etc." BLAH BLAH F-ing BLAH

I don't accept that as an excuse! We are paying them to adjust for those fluctuations as they occur, but as we can all see, they are not doing the job.

Statista released a report also in 2021 that shows how our infrastructure investment is falling short of our needs.

(From Statista)

In my opinion, there is only one way to understand this, what they are saying does not match what they are doing, as the two simple charts above show, and the Statista article statistics confirm it as well, don't they?

Ultimately, you must answer that question for yourself, but in my mind, they're lying to us, and it really shouldn't be a question anymore.

The response when we question this is met with something like; "Due to the actions of this president (Biden) our overall infrastructure grade is on the rise for the first time in blah blah blah years!"

WHO GIVES A SHIT! Why was it in the toilet to begin with, where did all of that money go?

We need to ask these questions and demand answers from people, this is our money, our lives and the lives and futures of our children and grandchildren.

All of the political bullshit is designed to keep us from realizing that what they tell us is not actually manifesting in what they do.

If we are honest with ourselves, quite the opposite is true. They are lying to us, and if the infrastructure money is not going to infrastructure, they have betrayed our trust as well. And just in case that isn't enough to get you pissed off, they are also robbing us blind.

You can prove this to yourself right now, right here with the information provided as a starting point. Will you do it? That is the only question.

We have two choices, we can keep letting them distract us with propaganda and more lies, or we can grow a spine and say, "Wait a minute, that does not make sense, you are lying to us!"

I mean come on guys, does being blatantly lied to which means these people think we are stupid bother you at all? That isn't enough to make you wake up and stop taking their shit?

Bottom line is that they are lying to us, and we need to focus on that and act accordingly. If they are lying to us about this, then what else are they lying about?

I'm going to tell you that just like I did with this topic. There will be no drawn-out explanations or massive dumps of information that no one will understand anyway.

Common sense dictates everything. Having slot A (what they promise) not match slot B (what they deliver) means they are lying to us and the only reason to lie is to hide something from us, isn't it?

You would not accept and tolerate being lied to by anyone else in your life, why are you giving these people (The government etc.) a pass on that? You should have a quite talk with yourself and answer that question, everyone should.

Foot Note- As you digest this information be sure to keep in mind the billions and billions of our tax dollars that have gone to improve every country BUT our own during this administration.

We will never find the answers until we start asking the questions, and that is a fact.

Questioning what those in power are doing is not a political act, it is an act of self-preservation. ~From the Grey
